It doesn't help that I've been lurking/inactive for months on end.

But I have art to submit! Given, it's stuff from last semester's Art Foundations class, but they're decent.

I also got my report card and asdfghjkl; how did I get a 99 on the Art Final. Not even lying here asdfghjkl; everything I did was horrible and i have no clue how good I am at writing critiques because the teacher never handed/graded the practice ones we did asdfghjkl;

ANYWAYS

I was in Finland for the past two weeks and it was amazing

Nothing much to talk about really, so I'll just finish this journal up. :I

So happy Day of Silence everyone! I didn't participate though. Mainly because our school's GSA is just a popularity statement for most of the members. And it was the last day before Spring Break, so I had to talk to some of my friends.

asdfghjkl; I have to work on the beginning of my self-portrait over vacation. AND I HAVE TO FIND A SAFE PLACE FOR IT.
At least I only have to make the background, the main part is done. Thank God. (We're using 8x10 pictures of ourself and gridding it and such and my ref was horrible)

So, long time no see. I've sort of been lurking on here, but not actually doing anything save commenting here and there.
I'd blame school for my absence, but I really can't. After all, I only tend to get homework in 2 of my classes and that's not every night.

I also haven't been drawing much. Lack of inspiration, I guess? But 2 days of color theory in Art has probably changed my life.

I've sort of fallen in love with Death Cab for Cutie right now. But I don't have the money to actually buy anything off iTunes.
... To Youtube! :U

I'm also debating actually trying to write short stories or start something. Not that I have any ideas.

1. I'm tall, skinny, blonde, and blue-eyed. Basically the stereotypical Aryan. :U

2. I have a tumblr, not that I actually post anything of interest. If you wanna know my URL, just ask.

3. I get cold easily but love cold weather anyways. And rain. Rain is awesome and will often put me in the best of moods although I hate getting wet in it,

4. I play trumpet. (Quite well if I do say so myself)

5. I hate swimming.

6. I generally come across as a shy and uncertain sort of person in real life. I think I just hide behind that, but I don't have the time to ramble on about that.

7. I want a corset of my own. Mainly because my back is usually sore all the time for whatever reason (probably stress) and I think I could use the extra support. Not to mention the fact that I want to volunteer with the local Historic Society and will willingly offer to dress up for it.

8. I'm so flat-chested that I can be mistaken for a guy pretty easily. Although my hair proves a problem. (I wear it long and often in a ponytail, bun, or braids)

9. I hate living in America. I want to learn many languages (mainly French, German, possibly Finnish) and move to somewhere in Europe.

10. I absolutely adore the idea of theatre. I've seen Phantom of the Opera and CATS performed professionally, and then I've seen Smokey Joe's cafe, Into the Woods, The Music Man, and Guys & Dolls performed by my highschool.

EDIT: OH YEAH YOU GUYS, I GET TO SEE CATS IN THEATER TOMORROW NIGHT WITH MY MOM. WE HAVE ORCHESTRA SEATS. I'M TOTALLY WEARING MY CAT EARS AND TAIL.

So I've been back for a bit now.
Not really been online much.

Anyways, in Art today we finished up our Still Life exam thing and everyone is like "OMGOMGOMG AMAZING" over mine. :I
I mean, it's awesome that my work is somewhat appreciated but I feel so awkward and such.
And at the beginning of class my teacher was like, "EVERYONE GO LOOK AT HER PAPER IF YOU WANT TO SEE A BEAUTIFUL EXAMPLE OF CROSSHATCHING AND THE USE OF SHADING ETC."

I kinda just wanted sink under my desk at that moment.

Anyways, I submitted my course requests for next year a few days ago. I hope I get them all.
Required: PE 10, Intermediate Math, CP Biology, H English II
Electives: Band, Drawing, French III, Intro to Business

I honestly don't want to take Intro to Business but it's a required graduation credit and the only other options that fall into it's category are Cooking or Computers and such.

I kinda wish I could take AP Bio, but everyone is like "NO. JUST NO. THE STRESS WILL GIVE YOU GREY HAIR."
And it's in 2 parts, meaning that I'd have to take the 2nd half as an elective. Haha, there's no possible way that's ever gonna happen.

Yeah, at my high school, sophomores aren't required to take History. I mean, you can, but I'm focusing on the credits that I need. IF IT WASN'T FOR INTRO TO BIZ I WOULD BE TRYING TO GET INTO RUSSIAN HISTORY. FFFFFFFFFFFFF


OKAY, SO THIS SEMESTER IS REALLY REALLY BORING
I don't get homework. Period. There's the occasional assignment in History and English, but then I don't get homework in my other classes.
And when I do get homework, half the time it's plain old reading or studying. FFFFFFFFF
I guess it's partially 'cause I'm only in CP History. I would've switched to Honors, but then I'd have to cut Art Foundations. And that class is technically required for all other Art-related classes.
_{And it's the first time I've ever actually gotten to take an art class...}

I guess that's it for now.
I've become a bit of a Billy Joel addict lately.
Mainly because I discovered my mom's stash of his CDs.
